Air Ambulance

Life saving emergency care based upon speed of response, provision of two paramedics to every incident and the facility to transport patients to the most appropriate treatment centre. The County Air Ambulance is now established as a familiar sight over a large area of the country, readily recognised for the life saving skills brought to many patients. Since the service commenced, in May 1991, with a single helicopter, it has developed with the support of the public throughout the area served.

 Cotswold Care Hospice

Cotswold Care Hospice at Minchinhampton cares for and supports people in Gloucestershire living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. The Hospice provides a flexible range of clinical services directed at meeting the palliative care needs of patients and their families from diagnosis throughout the illness and into bereavement.

Cobalt Appeal Fund ~ Crack Cancer Campaign, a local charity well known for its MRI and Diagnostic service, working closely with the NHS Three Counties Cancer Network to supplement the work of the hard pressed local Health Authority, by providing pieces of equipment for hospitals and Gloucestershire Breast Screening Service. The charity also funds local cancer research projects and offer Cancer Prevention Education Services to companies, organisations, schools and individuals.
