Spectators are a vital part of making the day memorable and hearing your cheers can give participants a boost when their legs are beginning to tire. You are welcome to come and cheer on your family and friends at the start / finish area or at selected points around the route.
Event Village
The Event Village will be located on the grassy area near the registration & reception desk in the North Gate building. Access to the racecourse is from the roundabout at the junction of Evesham Road and New Barn Lane and there is plenty of free car parking available. Follow signage and marshals’ directions.
Facilities
A selection of food and drinks will be available for purchase in the event village. There will also be entertainment and live music, massage, recovery zone and children’s activities.
Registered participants will have access to free water, juice and snacks at refreshment points around the 10k and marathon routes.
Spectator points
Each of the events will start and finish at the event village, providing constant activity for spectators to view. Full Marathon participants will pass through the start / finish area at their half way point, giving you the opportunity to cheer them on as they start on their final 13 mile stretch.
Much of the marathon loop across Cleeve Hill can be seen from the event village. Why not bring a pair of binoculars and a camping chair to watch in comfort!
In addition to the start and finish area there are other suitable spectator points along the route, however car parking may be limited.
